Are you tired of buying clothes that don’t fit, want to repair preloved items yourself and therefore preventing it from going into landfills?

I have been working in the industry as a professional garment tech for over a decade, fitting development samples with buying and designs providing customers with quality products for affordable prices. Although I try my best to get the fit right and product standards uphold for lasting wear, this still doesn’t diminish our high returns. Over the years I have seen many of the products develop returned and become unsellable. We all have different shapes and one size 10, does not fit all shapes or heights. In addition, what you see online and try on, doesn’t always suit you. 

High returns are unprofitable for business and the environment we live in.

So what is the solution?

According to the British House of Commons; Repairing 105. Increasing garment lifetimes is one of the most effective means of reducing their environmental footprint. Extending the life of clothing by an extra nine months could reduce carbon, waste and water footprints by around 20–30% each.

For each workshop, you will learn how to either Mend, Upcycle or Make garments. The sessions can be viewed online in the comfort of your home or join in person.
