Fashion Future
What is going to be the Future of Fashion?
This is something fashion always tries to answer each season and hoping the rest of the world would get inline with it.
I had 6 months off since my last blog post and found the answer to this question in Amsterdam. The Fashion for Good museum based in Amsterdam, showcase initiatives that aim to make good fashion. From Biodegradable materials that can degrade in nature, digital printing that uses no water, renting instead of buying and the list goes on.

It’s been well reported that fashion is one of the most polluted industry that involves business and consumers both contributing to waste. It’s no surprise that the UK government 2019 House of Commons environmental Audit Committee report on fixing fashion resulted that around 650,000 tons of unwanted clothing is collected annually in charities and take back schemes. Therefore change in the industry is inevitable. We simply cannot proceed the way we are.
The museum shows the impact one t-shirt has on the environment and people. The examples display endless possibilities of positive change to save that which seems lost.
The lost art of loving shown in how we take care of our clothes, the world we live in and other people is inspiring to see.
